Bistro Basics Part 2
We are delighted to offer another selection of classic French dishes in our popular Bistro series. Once mastered, the techniques learned during this action-packed day can be utilised endlessly. During this hands-on class you will master a classic French menu, with plenty of help from the Leiths chefs.
At home, you will be ready to recreate the menu, or use the skills in any number of alternative ways.
Beginning with coffee and pastries, the class will include a demonstration, and plenty of hands-on cooking. At the end of the morning you will sit down to enjoy the lunch of your own making with a well deserved glass of wine.

What the day involves:
- Coffee & pastries on arrival
- All ingredients are provided and weighed out for you in advance
- Unless otherwise specified, classes are a combination of a talk or demo, then plenty of hands-on cooking
- Wine is supplied at lunch to accompany the meal you have cooked
- Any food not eaten can be taken home
- Unless otherwise stated, a light lunch is provided for classes where students have not cooked a meal
- A recipe booklet
- All guests are assisted by Leiths teachers
- We do the washing up
