Dessert wine tasting evening with Nancy Gilchrist MW
During this informal and relaxed session the complexities of rich, sweet dessert wines are discussed and tasted, and matched with delicious classic and contemporary puddings.
The tasting will include examples of late harvested “noble rot” wines, such as Sauternes and Tokaji Puttonyos, a musky Moscato d’ Asti and a caramely Madeira.
On arrival, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Prosseco, before being seated for the lecture and served freshly baked or prepared puddings to complement each wine.
Warm, home-made brioche will be served throughout the evening, as a palette cleanser between the wines.
