Game Workshop
This course is suitable for those wishing to learn new recipes for game and also those who are only just discovering the wonders of this wild seasonal food. The day will start with a demonstration of plucking and drawing pheasant for those who want to learn from scratch, followed by some basic techniques needed for cooking game.
On the day you will learn to cook Pigeon Pâté; Venison casserole with chestnuts & cranberries; Griddled pheasant breasts with Marsala & prune sauce and see other delicious ideas to inspire you, such as Rabbit ravioli.
The day begins with coffee and pastries, followed by a morning of hands-on cooking. At the end of the class, sit down to enjoy a lunch that you have helped to prepare, with a well earned glass of wine.
