Cake Decorating
Introducing the new and exciting Master Classes from Juliet Sear of Fancy Nancy and Christine Lee of Boo Lee Scrumptious! - cake makers to the stars.
Juliet and Christine will show you how to ice the perfect cake for Christmas or other celebrations. The class begins with a demonstration on how to cover a cake in marzipan and sugarpaste to give a flawless finish. They will let you in on the secrets of their own designs before you are let loose on your own 6″ round rich fruit cake which will be covered for you, leaving you more time to concentrate on your decoration, whilst picking up hints, top tips and tricks of the trade galore.
A light lunch will also be provided.
What the day involves:
- Coffee & pastries on arrival
- All ingredients are provided and weighed out for you in advance
- Unless otherwise specified, classes are a combination of a talk or demo, then plenty of hands-on cooking
- Wine is supplied at lunch to accompany the meal you have cooked
- Any food not eaten can be taken home
- Unless otherwise stated, a light lunch is provided for classes where students have not cooked a meal
- A recipe booklet
- All guests are assisted by Leiths teachers
- We do the washing up
