Introduction to Thai cooking
This day long class is the perfect introduction to the aromatic world of Thai cuisine. For those new to Asian cookery, this course will teach you about sourcing and identifying ingredients, selecting a menu and, most importantly, cooking a Thai meal from scratch. There will be plenty of tips on preparation and seasoning so that you can produce authentic Thai food at home.
The day starts with coffee and pastries followed by a demonstration of dishes such as ‘Sticky pork salad with green pawpaw and chilli and lime dressing’, ‘Massaman curry’ and the classic ‘Pad Thai’. Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get cooking as you cook several authentic Thai recipes, some of which you will enjoy for lunch (the rest can be taken home).
You will go home feeling inspired, and ready to arrange your first Thai dinner party.
