Retro Puddings Workshop
This hands-on workshop takes favourite, classic recipes from the past and brings them up to date, adding a contemporary twist, and proving that they are still worthy of a place at your table.
Skills covered on the day will include making meringues and fresh lemon curd, rich short-crust and choux pastries, frangipane and chocolate ganache.
Lunch is not served on this course, but you are invited to eat one of your favourite puddings with a glass of dessert wine at the end of the session. The rest of your creations can be taken home to impress family and friends.

What the day involves:
- Coffee & pastries on arrival
- All ingredients are provided and weighed out for you in advance
- Unless otherwise specified, classes are a combination of a talk or demo, then plenty of hands-on cooking
- Any food not eaten can be taken home
- Unless otherwise stated, a light lunch is provided for classes where students have not cooked a meal
- A recipe booklet
- All guests are assisted by Leiths teachers
- We do the washing up
