In this hands-on class, you will learn the essential techniques of fruit preparation, understanding pectin, identifying setting point, bottling and storage. You will also learn which year-round fruit are suitable as alternatives so that you can apply your knowledge to preserving throughout the year. Including tips on using jams and marmalades in cooking, this promises to be a fruitful day for cooks of all abilities.
