International Students

Foreign Language Students

Students for whom English is a second language should normally have reached an IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) band score (or equivalent) of 6 for the ten week course and 6.5 for longer courses.
Students from abroad may be required to send a résumé of their cooking experience, knowledge and skills.

International/non-EU students Study visas are required for courses up to 6 months whilst Tier 4 Study visas are required for courses in excess of 6 months. Please contact the school should you require more information.

Tier 4 Study visa students – if a student fails to attend 10 expected consecutive practical classes and demonstrations the school will withdraw sponsorship of the student and the UKBA authorities will be notified, which may result in the withdrawal of your visa.

Eligibility and Accommodation

Students wishing to join a cookery Certificate or Diploma Course should make an appointment for an interview with the teaching staff, who will advise on availability and entry requirements for each course.   The School is non-residential, but we can help in finding accommodation.
