The Teaching Team
Our team has a wide range of experience and a rounded knowledge of all areas of cookery. They all teach the Diploma certificate as well as teaching the enthusiast classes.
Claire Macdonald - Principal
Claire graduate of Leiths School of Food and Wine, Claire is responsible for the day to day administration in the kitchen and for the welfare of the students.
Phil Eliott - Class Teacher
Phil trained at Leiths and worked as a chef for private clients before returning to Leiths to become a teacher. He is responsible for the welfare of the students in his class on a day-to-day basis. Phil also devised our Saturday morning roast classes and hosts the evening carving demonstrations.
Hélène Robinson-Moltke - Class Teacher
Hélène is responsible for the day-to-day welfare of the students in her class. A Leiths graduate, Hélène has a background in catering and food photography.
Michael Cropp- Class Teacher
Michael is responsible for the day-to-day welfare of students in his class. He completed the Leiths Diploma and won the Leiths Laurent Perrier Award for Best Overall Student. Michael went on to work a variety of restaurants before returning to Leiths to become a teacher.

Andrea Hamilton - Teacher
Andrea, a former Leiths graduate, teaches classes held in ’Kitchen 4′. Kitchen 4 has the capacity to host 16 students, either for a guest chef class, a Leiths run class, or private classes for corporate events. Andrea also helps teach the Diploma.
