Leiths Live at Green Days 2016

We're demonstrating at Green Days in Chiswick on 12th June... Come along to watch and taste!

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Bedford Park Festival, in Chiswick. It has become one of London's best-loved arts and community events, attracting thousands of people from the area and further afield.

This year, we're thrilled to be appearing at its opening fete, Green Days, on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th June.

At midday on Saturday, our teachers will be judging The Great Green Days Bake Off, choosing the winners of four categories who will each be awarded a bundle of prizes, including the Leiths How to Cook Cakes and How to Cook Pastry cookbooks. For more information on the categories and how to enter, click here.

If you want to see our chefs in action, and get a real taste for what Leiths is all about, join us for our live demonstration at 2:30pm on the Sunday. Our talented teachers will be creating three delicious canapés in front a live audience using wonderfully fresh, seasonal ingredients selected by you on Twitter.

Thank you to all who voted. Our polls were live for 48 hours and you decided on the following ingredients (winners in italics):

  • Meat: Beef, Lamb or Duck
  • Fish: Mackerel, Squid or Scallops
  • Fruit: Raspberries & Strawberries, Gooseberries or Cherries

Join us on Sunday 12th June to see these hero ingredients being transformed into show-stopping canapés before your very eyes!

Green Days Fete:
Saturday 11 June 2016 from 11am – 6pm
Sunday 12 June 2016 from 11.30am – 5.30pm
Acton Green Common, opposite Turnham Green Tube Station
