Due to the coronavirus outbreak Leiths has made the difficult decision to cancel all planned courses (except the Intermediate Certificate Assessments and our online courses) until the 14th April. In these exceptional circumstances all students who have booked places on our courses will be offered the opportunity to cancel or reschedule their course. If you are currently in the process of taking a multi-part course, you will be offered new dates to complete the course later in the year. Of course we will be dealing with a high volume of calls and emails and we thank you for your understanding and patience during this unsettling time. Leiths Advent - DEC 11 - Leiths Mulled Apple Juice

The festive joy of mulling is not reserved solely for red wine. A cup of our go-to winter warmer - mulled apple juice - will put right any cold, miserable morning or night.


Mulled Apple Juice
1l apple juice
Strips of orange peel to garnish
1 cinnamon stick, plus extra to garnish, if you like
3 cloves
Sugar or honey (to taste)


  1. Simmer the apple juice with the strips of orange peel, cinnamon stick and cloves for about 5-10 mins until all the flavours have infused. Sweeten to taste.
  2. Serve each drink with a little orange peel and a piece of cinnamon stick, if you like.
