Leiths Christmas Countdown Competition

With just over a week to go before Christmas, we have teamed up with some of our wonderful suppliers to help you on the big day, and bring a little festive cheer in the kitchen.

We are getting very excited about Christmas here at Leiths, with mince pies becoming our staple for breakfast, our turkey ordered and ready to be wrapped in muslin, and our Christmas cakes decorated - having fed them plenty of brandy over the last 8 weeks; yes we’ve been making plans for a while.

With just over a week to go before Christmas, we have teamed up with some of our wonderful suppliers to help you on the big day, and bring a little festive cheer in the kitchen.

For the next 7 days We will be giving away goodies via our facebook and twitter pages, with prizes including:

  • A Cornish Sea Salt ceramic salt pig and the complete range of sea salt flavours
  • A luxury hamper from the Belazu Ingredients Company
  • A case of Belvoir Cordial
  • Wine from Maison Louis Latour
  • Beautiful copper-based pans from Proware's brand new range
  • A Mini Chopper Micro from Magimix
  • A Chocolate Tasting class for two at Leiths

Terms & Conditions – Leiths Christmas Facebook and Twitter Competition

By entering this prize draw, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. The prize draw opens for entries at 10.00am on 17/12/2015. The closing date for entries is 23/12/2015 at 10am. This promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain (UK Mainland and Northern Ireland) who are aged 16 or over and for alcohol prizes entrants must be over 18.

2. The prize draw for each day opens for entries at 10.00am and closes at 9.59am the following day. Any entries received after 10.00am on each closing day will not be counted.

3. Each person may only enter once. For any occasions where more than one comment per person appears, only the first entry will be counted.

4. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups, individuals with multiple profiles on each social media site, or applications
automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Leiths School of Wine reserve the right to request identification documents such as passport or birth certificate to ensure the winner has the same name as is stated on their social media profile, and to disqualify any entrant whose entry is not within the spirit of the competition. Entries must be the entrant’s own work. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

5. To enter the Leiths promotion customers will need to log onto www.facebook.com/Leithscookery, share the relevant Facebook post and comment with their answer to the question posed by Leiths. Alternatively they may log onto twitter.com/Leithscooking, retweet the question posed by Leiths and tweet @Leithscookery with their answer. Facebook likes and Twitter favourites will not be counted. Any negative, rude, or inappropriate comments will be removed and not counted. The exception to this rule is the draw to win the Proware prize, for which entrants must visit Proware's own Facebook page and follow their instructions for entry.

6. The winners will be drawn under independent supervision and notified on Facebook or Twitter within 24 hours of the competition closing. The winner must confirm whether he or she wishes to claim the prize within 14 days of receiving notification. If the winner fails to do so, the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Promoter may offer the prize to another entrant.

8. Entry to this competition is via the Leiths Cookery Facebook page or the Leiths Cooking Twitter page only, and no written, emailed or faxed entries will be accepted.

9. Incomplete entries or those not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid and will not be entered in the draw.
