Made in the USA: Competition

It's just less than a month until Made in the USA: American Dishes with Florence Cornish, and we've got a competition to whet your appetite...

EDIT: The competition is now closed. The winner will be contacted and announced via Twitter.

Florence Cornish certainly doesn’t waste time. Her first cookbook, Made in the USA, was released a mere 3 months after graduating with the Leiths Diploma and what a wonderful debut it is!

Full of anecdotes, mouth-wateringly good photography and an array of American classics with simple twists; it’s a great addition to any food fanatic’s bookshelf. Lucky for you, we’ve got a copy to give away to one reader…

In the run up to Florence’s first Leiths class, a demonstration and tasting of her favourite dishes from the book, we’re giving you the chance to recommend your foodiest friend to win a copy of Made in the USA and Leiths’ very own How to Cook Bread

All you have to do is follow us on Twitter (@leithscooking) and tweet us using #LeithsFoodieFriend. Include your friend’s name and the reason for your recommendation. For example: "#LeithsFoodieFriend @leithscooking I would recommend my friend Emma, to fuel her addiction to Eggs Benedict."

We’ll select the winner on Monday 31st October, 2016 and will post the books on the same day.

For those who want to see Florence in action, you can join us at the school on Saturday 19th November. You’ll watch her prepare breakfast classics such as Pancakes with Blueberries and Cinnamon, regional dishes such as San Francisco Spaghetti with Clams and Southern delicacies including Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya and Beignets with Nutmeg Icing Sugar. There will be plenty of tasters to go around! Book here
