Summary Cooking and Wine Pairings with Louis Latour

Beat the February chill and join us for a special, heartwarming evening of food and wine with Louis Latour this Valentine's Day.

After you've prepared a delicious menu with guidance from the Leiths chefs, you'll then be introduced to some of Louis Latour's beautiful wines, which will have been expertly matched to the evening's dishes.

You'll cook together, learn a few key tips for pairing food and wine, then sit down to eat what you've prepared with perfectly complementing wines.

Valentine's Day Menu

  • Pan fried Mackerel, Roasted Beetroot, Lovage, Radish and Pickled Shallot Salad with Dill Yoghurt
  • Venison, Red Wine and Juniper Sauce Sauteed Wild Mushrooms, Pommes Boulangere and Buttered Kale
  • Chocolate Fondant with Praline Cream

What is included:

  • Refreshments on arrival
  • A recipe booklet
  • All ingredients provided and weighed out for you in advance
  • Dinner of your own making with Louis Latour wines
  • We do the washing up!

What you need to bring:

  • Flat soled shoes
  • Long trousers and a long sleeved top are advisable

Allergies and dietary restrictions:

We are happy to make adjustments where possible. Some classes are however unsuitable for people with particular intolerances – where the menu would need to be completely different.
