Summary Festive Canapés and Wine Pairings with Louis Latour

Join David Hargreaves of Louis Latour for an afternoon of festive flavours! This is the perfect class to fill you with anticipation for the party season.

First, the Leiths chefs will demonstrate how to prepare a series of crowd-pleasing canapés with a Christmassy twist.

Students will witness inventive cooking methods and, of course, will get to taste some brilliant flavour combinations including monkfish cheeks with pickled cucumber and citrus mayonnaise; and crispy pork belly with chilli caramel and apple slaw.

Next, David will talk you through some foolproof ways to pair wines with food, focusing on highlighting the flavours and textures of the day's menu. You'll taste a series of wonderful wines alongside the canapés so that you can best learn how they complement each other.

At the end of the class, you'll take home recipes for each of the canapés and a list of top tips for pairing wine with food.
