Are you an eco-conscious foodie that’s keen to pass on the green gene to the next generation? This fun, interactive Leiths class is a great place to kickstart your child’s healthy relationship with food and the planet, as they learn to eat well, look after themselves and the earth too.

‘Green Kids Cook’ is a unique cookery class for kids aged 9 -14, inspired by the new cookbook by acclaimed author, cookery teacher and health campaigner Jenny Chandler, designed to introduce them to tasty recipes and simple techniques to cook and eat sustainably while having fun too.

The class will be plant focused, as Jenny leads the kids through a host of delicious dishes from root vegetable fritters, fruit galette and smoky vegetable peel crisps, making the most out of fresh, abundant ingredients. As well as hands-on cookery skills, Jenny will also provide a brief but inspiring education on the importance of sustainable practices, engaging the children with clever and creative tips on how to get the most out of their food.

There can be no better way to get children eating more greens than by letting them take the reins in the kitchen.
